Tweets Visualized

Here's something different. It's a Wordle word cloud of my activity on Twitter. I've been fascinated with the various ways that people are coming up with to display data in the digital space. Here are other ways to look at the data in graphs from TweetStats. You can graph out any public Twitter user there.

Seems as though I'm talking about working, class and Twitpic as I shoot time while I'm going.

As more and more data is generated all across the web, people will need more effective ways to use and learn the info. Now if there was only a way to do photo clouds on Flickr...what would that look like I wonder? I guess I would have to be better about tags on my photos for that to work anyway. Or I guess try the Photosynth tool.

Found these and a bunch of other Twitter tips and tools here.

Fall drought

I'll be the first to admit that I haven't been doing much on here in a while. Just haven't been producing many visual elements lately. I'm learning how to build websites using CSS, designing a couple art projects and getting buried with grading work for the two photojournalism classes I'm teaching at Metro State.

But I have been posting a bit on my JL's Blog of Blogs. Been finding a few things here and there. So add that RSS feed to your goodie jar and I'll have some visual morsels for this space next week. Until then, enjoy the fall colors and weather.

Another site of my drivel

So I decided to start up another blog about blogs and other stuff I find in my endless surfing. I'm canceling cable television for sure now. Even more so after the launch of HULU!

JL's Blog of Blogs

Feel free to hop on over there and find numerous sites to help kill time and fill your brain with interesting info as well as a few useless bytes. Like the one above.

It's also linked under "My Other Connections" on the right side nav if you are weird and decide not to use RSS or bookmark it.
